Krueger provided architectural sheet metal systems to the UW Light Rail Station, working with general contractors to install precast, insulated, composite, and custom metal panels that enhance durability, aesthetics, and performance in a high-traffic public infrastructure setting.
Krueger was selected to install a variety of architectural, insulated, composite, and custom panel systems on the station exterior. Whether working with pre-fabricated systems or designing custom assemblies, our goal was to deliver a clean, cohesive façade that meets performance and aesthetic requirements.
With our own manufacturing shop, Krueger is qualified to fabricate custom metal panel systems to specifications not available off the shelf. This capability allowed us to offer tailored solutions when needed and ensure full integration with the installed systems.
On-site, we worked hand in hand with contractors to install panels with high precision and alignment, strictly following weatherproofing, thermal, and structural design requirements. The result is a durable, modern envelope that performs under the demands of Seattle’s environment and public transit usage.
